Avoidig pows
To avoid pows shake the wii wheel or remote untill the pow hits you, you will spin out but won't stop completely.

Avoiding blue shells
To avoid blue shells you will need a fast as the shell is dropping use the fast to speed ahead of it.

Areodynamic boosts
If you stay directly behind another racer for long enough wind streams will appear in front of you and make you go faster than normal for a while.

Extra items
If you are on a course with haystacks(Maple tree way) or crates(Delfino square) run into them and a item my come out of them this also works by killing goombas (the walking toadstoal things) with green shells, stars and other items.

Quick accelleration
After being hit by anything do a wheelie (if your on a bike) to save having to accelerate.

Maple treeway
On maple treeway turn to the right just past the finish line between the two big treetrunks follow the path and you will end up at the cannon before everyone else (if your fast).

Stars beside your name
If you get a one star rank or more on every grad pix you will get a star beside your name same as two stars and three stars.
